UVA Pipelines & Pathways invites all community members and their families to attend the program’s 1st Year Anniversary Celebration from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm at the Hillsdale Conference Center, located at 550 Hillsdale Drive, Charlottesville, VA. UVA’s President, Jim Ryan, will deliver remarks at 4:00 pm, and program participants who have obtained employment through Pipelines & Pathways will share their stories.

The event marks the one-year anniversary of UVA’s Pipelines & Pathways program, which aims to increase the number of individuals residing in underserved communities in the Charlottesville region who are hired by the University and support them through their career at the University, so they continue to progress and succeed.

The celebration offers an excellent opportunity to connect with local community leaders and get to know the UVA Pipelines & Pathways team members and the program’s service offerings for community members. Bring your friends and family as we celebrate more than 100 community members who have been hired at UVA and with our community partners over the past year. Hear program participant stories, make new connections, and enjoy food and fun activities, including games and children’s activities!

Free parking is available for attendees at the front of Hillsdale Conference Center. Overflow parking is available in the Food Lion parking lot located just above the conference center.
