Susan Talbert

Susan Talbert joined the Executive Management Search Group in June 2011. As an Executive Recruiter, Susan works on all aspects of the executive recruitment process. She develops extensive strategic recruitment campaigns by writing advertisements, providing consultation to search committees regarding candidate selection and the interview process as well as arranging on-grounds visits for search finalists. Susan is responsible for recruiting top rated candidates from her comprehensive market research and outreach efforts.

Before joining EMSG, Susan worked in the education field as a teacher in both private and public school in the Charlottesville area. In addition to supervising many student teachers from UVA’s Curry School of Education, Susan led her students on community projects both locally and throughout the state of Virginia including successfully passing a “Youth Fitness Day” resolution in the State General Assembly.

Susan completed her teacher program at Mary Baldwin College and received B.A. in English from Radford University. Susan spends most of her time cheering on her children at local sporting events, but in her spare time loves running and reading.
