Responsibilities and Training
Training for the Integrated System (IS) Finance and Human Resources modules is based on your assigned responsibilities. A responsibility is a predefined set of data, menus, and forms that defines your particular level of authority and what information you have access to while using the Integrated System. To gain access to most IS Finance and Human Resources responsibilities you must complete required training. There are some exceptions to training requirements, including some viewer-only responsibilities and the responsibility ODS Specialist, which is assigned with all IS responsibilities and gives users access to Oracle Discoverer, the system's reporting module. The prerequisite for all required training classes is Integrated System Navigation and Overview, an online class.
Requests for Integrated System responsibilities are made by you or your supervisor and submitted via the Electronic Self-Help Access Request Process (ESHARP).
