Inclement Weather Policy

The policy (below) applies only to activities sponsored by HR Employee Development.

  • Employee Development follows the UVa operating schedule with one exception:

    • Exception: If Albemarle County schools are closed due to weather conditions, then all Employee Development activities are cancelled

    • Call 434.982.0123 for more information

This includes New Employee Orientation, Integrated Systems training classes, Jobs@UVa workshops, Personal & Professional Development seminars, Leadership Development Center programs, Essential WorkSkills program, Supervisory Essential series, ITC Computer classes, among others.
