Subject: Recording Time & Leave for March 17

Due to inclement weather, on Monday, March 17, 2014, only designated Academic Division employees were required to report to work. Detailed instructions for recording time and leave can be found on our weather timekeeping pages. Please note, if you had scheduled leave or sick time, per state policy you do not have to use that leave or sick time. You use agency closing leave instead.

Designated employees are our first responders in emergencies. When non-designated employees remain at home, it makes it easier for our emergency services personnel to do their jobs. The designation helps us respond more effectively during inclement weather and other emergencies, and helps employees better understand what is expected of them in emergency situations.
