Would you like to be more connected to the student experience and the wider UVA community outside your department? Do you like to discuss interesting and profound topics? Would you like to be part of a movement to make UVA a stronger, more caring community?
If so, we encourage you to sign up for Dialogue Across UVA. Dialogue Across UVA is a unique opportunity for staff, faculty, and students to build relationships across diverse areas of the university, engage in meaningful conversations and share perspectives about thought-provoking issues. Dialogue endeavors to strengthen our community through consciousness-raising and meaningful connection so that we act and think not only as individuals, but as valued members of the entire University community.
- Five 1 ½ hour biweekly dialogue sessions led by trained facilitators
- Topics for discussion include UVA-Charlottesville relations, Race and Gender, Tradition and Progress, and Being American among others
