Making thoughtful decisions takes energy; energy that we often spend comlpleting other tasks. Join us as we explore the impacts of decision fatique and how simple changes can result in better decision-making.

Program Description: This program begins with a focus on the foundations of leadership, such as creating a shared vision and trust and progresses to the nuts-and-bolts of leading as a manager. The participants interact during class discussions and activities, learning from each other and building valuable relationships.
Audience: This program is intended for new managers. No prior knowledge or skill is necessary.
Program Content: Day 1: Introduction to The Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership®, from The Leadership Challenge, by James Kouzes and Barry Posner Day 2: Creating a Climate of Trust, Effective Communications, and Hiring the Best Day 3: DiSC Assessment for Managers, Performance Management and Progressive Discipline Day 4: Human Resources Policy and Compliance, Delegating, and Managing Conflict Day 5: Crucial Conversations® Day 6: Inspiring and Engaging Employees, Action Planning, and Business Responsibilities Meet & Greet Day 7: Leadership Lift-Off Graduation
Pre-work is assigned before most class days.
