Paid Time Off

You may take approved absences from work using your leave hours, allotted through the Paid Time Off (PTO) leave program.

You can use PTO for any reason, such as vacation, personal illness, family illness, bereavement, or to attend to personal business. You are required to receive approval for time off from your immediate supervisor, and requests for PTO must comply with established department procedures and policies for time away from work. The following are not part of this policy:

  • Administrative Leave
  • Military Leave
  • Family and Medical Leave
  • Personal or Educational Leave
  • Public Service Leave
