UVA Benefits Self Service

There is a new system for updating your benefits selections— for benefits open enrollment and for life events, like having a baby or getting married. We’ve got new helpful videos and a virtual benefit counselor queued up, and best of all, we are offering a pilot text messaging program for Benefits Open Enrollment this fall—read on for more details and to sign up!

Access your benefits selections at any time by choosing Benefits from the navigation on the top of the HR home page, and then logging in through the Integrated System, the same place you create timecards, update direct deposit or tax information and obtain your pay slip and W2. The new system looks different than before, but it works the same way that your other self-service applications do, so it is still familiar. To request a life event benefits change (i.e. Birth, Marriage, Loss of other Coverage, etc.) contact the HR Service Team at 434.982.0123 or AskHR@virginia.edu.

This year, as a pilot, HR is offering you the option to get text messages reminding you about open enrollment’s key dates. If you are on the go for work, text messages are our best way to let you know open enrollment news. Just text “UVABOE” to 88202. You will get no more than three messages from us, plus a welcome that lets you know you’re enrolled, and we won’t use your cell phone number for anything else.
