UVA HR Service Delivery Channels

There are three primary channels to find answers to your questions, and enlist the HR resources you need.

  1. HR Solution Center

  2. HR Business Partner

  3. Self-Service/ Workday (when available in January 2019)

Solution Center

The Solution Center is a one-stop resource dedicated to helping all UVA employees with their HR needs. Services include:

  • Basic help desk support (HR Applications)

  • Get answers about any HR topic, process, timeline, or program

  • Individual-specific case management and support

  • Resolve a benefit or payroll issue

  • Apply for disability, FMLA, or other leave of absence

  • Make a change to your benefits

  • Apply for tuition assistance

  • Consult with a benefit counselor or leave specialist

  • Get assistance with employee or manager self service

Business Partner

Your dedicated HR Business Partner is there to provide support for all of your human resource needs. We encourage you to reach out to them for any and all questions, they are ready and waiting to help. Their general responsibilities include:

• Primary interface with business (school/unit) leadership

• Responsible for coordination and mobilization of HR resources

• Access the resources of the entire UVA HR organization

• Facilitate, promote, create localized people strategy
